ABSTRACK

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Qiraati method in
improving Al-Qur'an reading in the Syaikh Daud Al-Masrur Al-Qur'an
Education Park, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. In the past few years,
TPQ has excelled by achieving General Champion three times in a row.
The question in this research is how TPQ implements the Qiraati Method
and what efforts are made to increase Al-Qur'an reading at the institution.
This research uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach. Data
collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and
documentation techniques. The research subjects were TPQ leaders,
administrators, teaching staff and students. Determining research subjects
used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques are carried
out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions as well as
verifying the trustworthiness of research results obtained using techniques
of extended participation, careful observation, data triangulation and
supervisor consultation. The results of this research indicate that the
implementation of the Qiraati method in improving Al-Qur'an reading at
TPQ Syaikh Daud Al-Masrur, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province: 1) How to
implement the Qiraati method using high levels of mentoring, supervision
and discipline 2) The performance of the teaching staff is good because of
the massive routine of joint learning between teachers. 3) The obstacle is
the lack of discipline of teachers who are still teenagers. 4) TPQ Syaikh
Daud Al-Masrur's efforts to increase Al-Qur'an reading are by paying more
attention and schedule than programmed, sufficient educator capacity,
providing motivation, evaluation and supervision. The conclusion of this
research is that TPQ Syaikh Daud Al-Masrur is able to implement the
qiraati method program well and even excel by monitoring and providing
more teaching and learning activities as well as the seriousness of the
institution in fulfilling and carrying out the planned program so that almost
all learning processes can run optimally.
