Title : The Correlation Among Students’Reading Speed,
Reading Habit and Their Reading Comprehension At
SMP N 27 Batanghari

This research aims to determine The Correlation Among Students’Reading Speed,
Reading Habit and Their Reading Comprehension At SMP N 27 Batanghari. In
this research, a quantitative approach was used include, which is simply the
collection of numerical data to describe a certain event, and the type of the
research was Correlational Design. The analysis revealed a moderate positive
correlation (r = 0.103) between variable X1 and variable Y. A non-significant link
exists between the variables (p < 0.05, 2-tailed). The analysis revealed a positive
medium correlation of r=0.259 between variable X2 and variable Y, which was
statistically insignificant (p > 0.05, 2-tailed). This test found a correlation
coefficient of r = 0.180 (N = 75), exceeding the r table value (0.224). This shows
that there is a positive correlation between student speed, student reading habits
and student reading comprehension.
