Tittle : Students Perception on the Use of Video Blog (Vlog) in Learning
Speaking at SMP AL- Inayah
This research aims to find out students' perceptions of the use of video blogs
(vlogs) in speaking learning at SMP Al Inayah Tebo. The method employed is a
quantitative survey design, involving 102 students as samples. Data were collected
through a questionnaire designed to measure students' views on the effectiveness of
vlogs in enhancing their speaking abilities. This questionnaire includes various

aspects such as motivation, confidence, and students' perceptions of technology-
based learning. Through this approach, the study seeks to provide a clear picture of

how students respond to the use of vlogs in the context of English language
learning. The analysis results indicate that the majority of students have a positive
perception of using vlogs as a learning aid. Students consider vlogs to be an
engaging and effective medium that not only helps them understand the material
but also improves their speaking skills. Additionally, students reported an increase
in motivation and confidence in speaking English after utilizing vlogs. These
findings suggest that the use of video blogs can create a more interactive and
enjoyable learning environment, which in turn can enhance students' learning
outcomes.
