Title : Students’ Perspective On the Use of Wordwall Application in
Speaking Skills at SMA 1 Jambi

The research explores students' perspectives on the use of the Wordwall
application to enhance speaking skills at SMA 1 Jambi. A qualitative approach was
employed, with data obtained through interviews conducted with six students who
had used Wordwall in classroom learning. The findings revealed that positive
perspectives were held by students regarding the use of Wordwall. Improvements
were noted in cognitive factors (fluency,vocabulary,pronounciation,and grammar),
affective factors (using wordwall app and confident after using wordwall),and
conative factor (motivation). Opportunities to practice speaking in a supportive
atmosphere, free from the formal pressure of regular classes, were appreciated by
the students. Based on these results, it was recommended that schools optimize the
use of Wordwall as a learning medium for speaking skills. Overall, Wordwall
application was considered an effective medium for promoting speaking skills.
