This research aims to reveal Islamic values in English textbook entitled “When
English Rings A Bell” used in first grade SMP/Tsanawiyah published by National
Ministry of Education and Culture. This research is a content analysis research to
reveal Islamic values in the textbooks. The result of the research show that Islamic
values can be found in the textbook components, namely images and text . Islamic
vaues are integrated in images and text including aqidah values, syari’ah values,
and akhlaq values.
