Title :The Effect Of Using ELLLO Media In Listening Comprehension

For Eleventh Grade At MA Darul Arifin Jambi
This research aims to determine the effect of using ELLLO on students'
listening comprehension at MA Darul Arifin Jambi. This research is quantitative

and was conducted using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-
equivalent control group. The sample in this study was 42 students who were

divided into experimental groups and control groups, using cluster random
sampling techniques. The data collection instrument in this research is fill in the
blank consisting of a pre-test and post-test. The result of this research shows that
the mean post-test score (82.38) is higher than the mean pre-test score (50.00).
Based on the result of the analysis carried out in the paired sample t-test, the
results showed that the sig (2-tailed) value was smaller than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05),
so that (Ha1) was accepted and (H01) was rejected. This means that there is a
significant effect on students' listening comprehension after and before using the
ELLLO, and the result of the independent sample t-test shows that the sig (2-
tailed) value is lower than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05). And the t-test value is higher than
the t-table value (54.18 > 1.684) with degrees of freedom (df) = 40, so (Ha2) is
accepted and (H02) is rejected. This shows that there is a significant defferent
between students who study using ELLLO and students who do not use ELLLO.
