Title : “The effect of Assemblr Edu application as a learnig
media on student writing skill descriptive text at SMAN
6 Muaro Jambi”

This research aims to determine the effect of using Assemblr Edu
Application as a learning media on students writing skill descriptive teks at
SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi. This research is quantitative and was conducted using a
quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group. The
sample in this study was 50 students who were divided into 25 students
experimental groups and 25 students control groups, using simple random
sampling techniques. The data collection instrument in this research is written test
consisting of a pre-test and post-test. The result of this study shows that the mean
post-test score (88,52) is higher than the mean pre-test score (72,71), so that this
means that there is a significant effect on students' writing skiil after and before

using the Assemblr Edu Application, and the result of the independent sample t-
test shows that the sig (2-tailed) value is lower than 0.05 (0.011 < 0.05). and the t-
count 2,679 higher than the t-table 2.021 (2.679 > 2.021) with degrees of freedom

(df) = 40, so (Ha2) is accepted and (H02) is rejected. This shows that there is a
significant effect between students who study using Assemblr Edu Application
and students who do not use the Assemblr Edu.
