Abdurrahman, 2024 : The Words of Anger in “CRUELLA”
Movie 2021 by Craig Gillespie

The words of anger are some expression of anger caused by something
that is expressed or shown in verbal language and non-verbal language. Anger
words arise from the background of someone's life history which is not good. The
main purpose of this research is to identify and find out; 1) the words of anger
appeal from the verbal language. 2) the words of anger appeal from non-verbal
language. 3) understand why non-verbal language is more dominant than verbal
language in the Cruella movie by Craig Gillespie. To reach those research
question, the researcher used two theories to analyze the data, verbal language
from Cangara theory (2007) non-verbal from Hariyanto's theory (2021) as a
guideline. The method of this research is qualitative research. In collecting the
data, the researcher used technique of documentation. The technique used in
analyzing the data in this study was a descriptive technique. The results of this
research are : There are 62 total data the words of anger ( 1 ) verbal language or
verbal communication: ( a ) verbal language (Estella version) 14 data and ( b )
verbal language (Cruella version) 15 data and ( 2 ) non-verbal language or verbal

communication: ( a ) non-verbal language (Estella version) 16 data and ( b ) non-
verbal language (Cruella version) 17 data.
