The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Treffinger
learning model on student learning outcomes in class VIII at Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Sarolangun. This research is a quantitative study using the
Quasi Experiment method and the posttest only control group design, while data
collection was carried out using a test technique. The population in this study
were students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Sarolangun with 22
students in each class. Based on the results of the "t" test, the thitung is 3.14 and the
ttabel at 5% is significant at 2.02, so thitung > ttabel, this shows that there are
differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control
class. Thus there are differences in Treffinger's learning model for Natural Science learning outcomes in students' Cognitive domains.
