This thesis discusses the analysis of factors for difficulties in learning Arabic for grade 8 at Smps Darul 'Ulum, Jembatan Mas. This research aims to find out the factors of difficulty learning Arabic. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The sources of information in this research were the school principal, Arabic language teacher, homeroom teacher, and several students. The data collection techniques are using observation, interviews and documentation. This qualitative data analysis uses the Miles and Hubermen model of qualitative data, namely the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this research shows that there are two factors regarding the difficulties in learning Arabic for Grade 8 at Darul 'Ulum Bridge Mas Middle School, namely external factors and internal factors, including the cognitive and affective aspects of students, while the external factors are environmental factors. school, the solution to overcome these difficulties involves providing special time during breaks or after lessons end, the teacher provides additional training related to the ability to listen (istima'), read (qira'ah), speak (kalam), and write ( kitabah), the teacher accustoms students to involve themselves in listening, reading, speaking and writing Arabic letters, the teacher consistently stimulates students' enthusiasm for learning so that they remain enthusiastic in the learning process. From the results of this research, the researcher suggests that teachers provide motivation to students and parents regarding awareness of the importance of learning and understanding Arabic as Muslims. Teachers must be more active and innovative in using learning methods and media so that students are interested in learning it. Madrasahs need to provide a lab. Language to support the practice of listening or pronouncing Arabic and getting used to repeating vocabulary such as holding language days, for example Mondays in Arabic, Tuesdays in English and so on.
