This study aims to determine the effect of education level and length of business on the income of street vendors in Mendalo Darat Muaro Jambi.
This thesis uses a quantitative approach to the method of collecting data through observation, distributing questionnaires and documentation.
The results of the research and data analysis through the F test, T test and Determination Test (R2) show that the variable level of education and length of business have different results on income.
The research results obtained were seen from the partial test results in this study, the t table value was 1.665, the t count > t table or -1.498 > 1.665 and the resulting significant value was 0.138 greater than 0.05, so this shows no effect significant. While the length of business the value of t count > t table or 3.179 > 1.665 and the resulting significant value of 0.02 is less than 0.05, this shows that any increase in the length of business will cause an increase in the income of street vendor entrepreneurs. The results of the value of f count > f table or 11.010 > 3.965 the resulting significance value is 0.000 which is less than the significant level of 0.05 because f count > f table, this means that the variables of education and length of business jointly or simultaneously affect the entrepreneur's income. Based on the regression value, a significant value of 0.000 <0.005 is obtained, so it can be said that the education variable (X1) and length of business (X2) affect the income of street vendors with the magnitude of the value taken from the R Square value of 0.208 which is presented to 20.8%. quite strong meaning
