Title : Comparison of Mathematic Learning Outcomes of Students
Using the Active Learning Model of Learning Index Card
Match type with Cooperative Learning type Make A Match in
Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bustanul Huda Tebo district

This thesis discusses the students' mathematical learning outcomes carried
out in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bustanul Huda Kabupaten Tebo. The research
method used is experiment with Posttest-Only Control Design. The study
population was eighth grade students totaling 60 students. The sampling technique
was total sampling which amounts to 60 students. The material in this study is line
and angles equation which lasts for 4 meetings. The experimental class I used the
active learning model type index card match, from the experimental class I the
highest score was 96, the lowest value was 50 and the standard deviation was
12.19. And the second experimental class used the make a match type learning
cooperative learning model, from the experimental class I it was found that the
highest score was 86, the lowest value was 36 and the standard deviation was
15.27. After the experimental class I and experimental class II were conducted,
the data was carried out by the "t" test with a value of t = 3.688 and after
comparing between t count and t table, it turns out that t count> t table at 1% and
5% significance level or 2.002 < 3.688 > 2.656. From these data it can be
concluded that there are significant differences between the use of active learning
model of learning index card match type and cooperative learning type make a
match on students' mathematical learning outcomes.
