Abstract

This research aims to explore students' perceptions of using Quizizz as an
assessment tool in English learning at MTs Nurul Falah, Kota Jambi. The study
employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, focusing on a sample of
15 ninth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews to gain deeper
insights into students' experiences and opinions on Quizizz. The findings reveal
that students have a positive perception of Quizizz as an assessment tool. They
find it engaging, interactive, and helpful in improving their understanding of
English. The use of Quizizz also promotes motivation and reduces test anxiety,
making assessments more enjoyable and effective. Overall, this study highlights
the potential of Quizizz to enhance the assessment process in English learning.
