Title : English Education Students’ Difficulties in the Paraphrasing of Other Ideas in Writing A Thesis
This study examines the difficulties faced by English language education Study Program at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi in mastering listening skills students in paraphrasing academic writing in English. This study aims to identify students' difficulties in paraphrase English writing theses. This study used a qualitative method, with respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The results showed that most respondents experienced difficulties in paraphrase of English Writing Thesis. The difficulties experienced by students included linguistic aspects, including low reading comprehension, working in a second language and dealing with plagiarism practice, cognitive burden, analytical intelligence, creative intelligence and practice intelligence.
