"This study Investigating the Challenges of Pre-Service English Teachers in
Utilizing Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL): A Study of English
Education Students at UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Using a quantitative
descriptive design, data were collected from 130 respondents through a Likert-
scale questionnaire covering five indicators: infrastructure, digital skills,
curriculum, institutional support, and motivation. The findings reveal that all
indicators fall into the “high” category, indicating that challenges are significantly
present, particularly in technological access, digital competence, and limited
institutional training. These results suggest the need for strengthened technological
infrastructure, structured TELL training, and improved curriculum support to
enhance pre-service teachers’ readiness for technology-based English instruction."
